My favorite Girl Band

Twice is my favorite Girl band who was formed by JYP Entertainment and officially debuted on 20 October 2015. Twice is consists of nine members: Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu. Some of the Members are from Japanese and Taiwanese while the other members are from South Korean. Before their debut in the year of 2013, Some of the new JYP trainees who had been a long time to become a trainee was reportedly going to join a group called Sixmix. The group is consists of Six members, Lena, Cecilia, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo and Minyoung. There were planning to debut on 2014, but then Cecilia left the group and Sana substitute her position. Not just Cecilia, Lena also left the group because they wanted to reach their career to become a Soloist. But then, Minyoung was eliminated in A Program called “ SIXTEEN “. So they canceled their debut in 2014

Since there are four other members left the group, JYP decided to search the other new members trough a talent search program called “ SIXTEEN “. In the end, Mina, Dahyun and Chaeyoung are the chosen member. However, some of their fans said that it’s not fair for those who has been eliminated. Then they choose based on the most popular with the highest vote and Tzuyu is the chosen one. JYP also choose Momo by himself because of her dance skill. After that, JYP publish their photo teaser on 11 October – 13 October 2015. In the year of 2015, They release their album called “ The story begins “ As their official debut with their main song called “ Like Ooh-Ahh “ who was written by Black Eyed Pilseung. Before their debut, Twice also upload their first reality show called “ Twice TV “ On 10 July – 14 August 2015 with five episodes. On 11 October 2015, they publish their debut teaser for five consecutive and they uploaded their official debut on 20 October 2015. They choose a zombie theme with an energetic choreography. They are also having their fansign on 7 November 2015, a million of fans came to attend the event and it was held on a place in District Gangnam but they are Continuing their fansign on 29 November 2015. In the end of 2015, they perform on SBS “Gayo Daejon” to achieve their trophy as a new arrival in the Korean industry.

The next year, They succceed to become the winner in a music show, Inikigayo. At first, they’re song is in the 30th position but now is in the top 10. Twice started to become active in many kinds of variety shows on 3 January 2016, they are also perform on another show called “M! Countdown!”. On 25 February 2016 they won the “ New artist award “ category at the 30th Golden disk awards. As I mention before about Twice TV, Now there are new reality show, Twice Elegant Private Life. Which is they will reveals their daily activites from 1 March – 19 April 2016. In the end of March, Twice become busier because they are handling their second mini album. Before they release their second album, they also held a fanmeeting called “ To Once from Twice “ because they called their fans “ Once “. On 25 April 2016, they release their second mini album “ Page two” with their main song “ Cheer up “ who was written by Sam Lewis and composed by Black Eyed Pilseung. A few days later, their song got the first rank on Gaon Digital Chart and their song is on the third position in Billboard World Digital Songs Chart. On 29 April 2016, Twice TV season 3 publish 8 episode of their holiday in Jeju. They also get a trophy on 5 May in “ M! Countdown!” and they also winning for 4 Consecutive days in Music bank and three times in Inikigayo. On 24 October 2016, they released their third album and their MV for the main song called “ TT “ with a halloween concept. They won another trophy in “ The show “ and “ Show Champion “. They also win an award “Song of the year” on 24 November 2016

In 2017, They were having a concert called “ Twice 1st tour “ for three days at SK Olympic Handball Stadium. They provide 15.000 tickets and sold out in 40 minutes. Twice have brought the digital trophy of Daesang digital when appearing at the 31st Golden disk award. Five days later, Twice release their new album “ TWICEcoaster : LANE 2”. On 24th February 2017 they release their Japan debut on 28 June 2017 with another new album called “ What is love? “ and release their 4th mini album “ Signal “ with 6 songs and their main song is signal. On 28th September 2017, Twice entered the list of “21 Under 21 2017: Music’s next generation” Even, Billboard admit that they are one of the best Girl band in Korean. They are also create a new single on Japan called “ One more time “ on 18 October 2017. To celebrate Christmas. They release their repackage album, Merry and Happy. Heart shaker is their main song and they release it on 11 December 2017

To welcoming of the new year they achieve their award on “ Bongsang award “ and get another award in the category “ Song of the year “. On 9 April 2018, their song “ What is love? “ Occupied the first position on Itunes in many kinds of country. The next album on 2018 is “ Wake me up “ released on 25 April 2018. They also started their new tour called “ Twiceland Zone 2: Fantasy Park “ started in Korea from 18 May – 25 August 2018. The last day, they held their concert in Indonesia for 3 days. While they were undergoing their tour, they create another repackage album with 9 songs and “ Dance the night away “ is the main song. Most of the members are participate to create the lyrics. Dance the night away teaser are also become trending in some of the social medias like YouTube and Twitter. As always, a few hours later their song succeed placed the first position in many kinds of music charts. In the end of september, Twice comeback with their Japanese album “BDZ” Released on 29 September – 17 October 2018

In 2019, They publish their new MV called “ Fancy “ and they are also release their 8th mini album called “ Feel special “ on 23 September 2019. Mina and Jihyo were participate to join the MV comeback. Eventhough they were in a bad condition. So that is the reason why I choose twice as my favorite Girl band. Besides of their talent, I really like their visual and they are so attractive. My favorite member in this group are Sana and Nayeon. Twice also had a good personality, they like to interact with their fans in their concert or in their fanmeeting and they treat the other members in a good way
